Old city feels meets modern design describes this suite perfectly from Meghan at Lace and Belle. It’s a gorgeous combination of paper with delicate gold leaf and black envelopes along with a laser cut invitation with beautiful calligraphy. A minimalist design filled with all the little details.

Here’s what Meghan had to say about designing this suite:

When I think of modern weddings in the city, visions of lucite, classic black, ivory, and gold accents come to mind. And as soon as I saw the mood board for this timeless old city Philadelphia styled shoot, I just knew I had to blend paper with a material you don’t see every day. The Lace and Belle invitation suite featured an avant-garde laser engraved acrylic invitation with modern calligraphy paired with a serif font, and a monogram for a new take on a timeless tradition for personalized flair. On the RSVP card I incorporated gold leaf accents which beautifully complemented the gold calligraphy on the modern black envelopes. The inspiration behind the shoot was curated by Liz Andolina Photography, who crafted the story of a luxury East Coast wedding with details representing a couple who's well traveled, yet unpretentious. This couple is unique, creative, and wants to showcase something different for their wedding day.
